The one thing I will say that is infuriating about the Unova 'mons are not the design, but just how long they take to evolve. heck, I felt like it somewhat made up for the limitation of BW to only use Unova mons. The starter lineup is cool as heck, the elemental monkeys are a neat idea, the starting Bug-types in Leavanny and Scolipede are actually decent, the Desert Resort-native Pokémon (Cofagrigus, Scrafty, Sigilyph, Krookodile, Crustle, among others) are awesome, the fossils are NOT dinosaur related (although one could make an argument for Archeops), the Chargestone Cave-native Pokémon (Galvantula, Ferrothorn, Eelektross, among others) are also great.

Heck, I think that Unova 'mons get dunked on for these four in particular that other awesome Unova designs are just completely ignored. Klinklang? Honestly I think works as well as the Magnemite line. Garbodor? Better than Muk, and kinda endearing. Honestly, many of the "inanimate object" 'mons that draw so much criticism for Gen V designs is really unwarranted.
